WTF is happening? The game community seems like a totalitarian shithole. Everyone is censored everything like people discovered
the gates of hell itself.

Seems like some decent blokes. My usual sites to read (RPS and games.on.net) have pissed me off enough to stop reading them for good. Only exception would be Flare Path, the writer there is good, mainly because he talks about videogames.

From what I can tell they've basically circled the wagons and hoped that the internet's ADD would kick in and this would go away. Turns out that the deeper that people dug into things the more and more people found. Which gave birth the 'thefirerises' hashtag. This has been building for years now. Quinn was just the gas on the embers that became the inferno we're all dancing in now. I suspect it might enter plasma fire levels in a week.

They tried ignoring it, censoring it, and finally shaming it. I'm guessing they will now circle back to ignoring it again, but they would have to stop lashing out on twitter and I doubt they can manage that.

Ignoring it? Hm, that's a maybe. I'll consider that one. Next I'm thinking their going to try begging or even coming out with a sorry. At this point, if nothing is done to stop us, their bread and butter is going to disappear and the ads they were being supported by are going to be at a new level of pissed off.
